Trauma Responsive Strategies for Classroom Behaviors

We all want to build a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom for all children.  For this to happen, we need to learn about the effects of trauma and adverse childhood experiences on brain development.  In this training, we will take a closer look at the challenging behaviors caused from trauma and start to ask, “What happened to you?” instead of saying “What is wrong with you?”  We will look at whole-classroom strategies as well as individualized support you can implement to make your classroom a safe and wonderful place to be!
