Children aged birth to three are learning about themselves and the world around them. Developing social and emotional skills are a large focus during this age range and will contribute to a child’s success in school and in life. While developing those skills, there is a WIDE range of behaviors that teachers will need to know how to respond to. Some behaviors that are not acceptable are completely NORMAL and should be handled as such. Our group care environments may be the first time that a child has peers to be around and get along with. Learning about how to support children with their social and emotional development is very important for birth-three educators. This training will give you a basic understanding of how to be successful in this endeavor.
