Training developed by the North Carolina Child Care Healthy and Safety Resource Center covering preparing and responding to medical emergencies in child care. Participants will learn about: Defining medical emergencies, what to expect when EMS is called and arrives, details and explanation of roles listed on the Emergency Medical Care Plan for the facility, communicating with families during an emergency, incident reporting when needed.
