Ready, Set, Refocus: Attention Getters for Early Learners

Ready, Set, Refocus! is an interactive training designed to help preschool educators capture children’s attention, create smoother transitions, and foster calm, engaged learning environments. Participants will explore a variety of developmentally appropriate attention getters, including songs, movement, chants, and visual cues, while learning strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and increase participation throughout the day. Through practical activities and real-world classroom examples, educators will leave with tools to help children successfully transition between activities, strengthen self-regulation skills, and create more connected and responsive classrooms.
