Tiny Hands, Big Plans: Creating Meaningful Learning Experiences

When time comes to develop next week’s lesson plan, what are you feeling: dread or excitement? Lesson planning can sometimes be challenging, especially when you’re trying to meet the needs of all of the kiddos in your care. This training focuses on developing effective and engaging lesson plans that support children’s learning and development. Participants will learn how to create age-appropriate activities, set clear learning goals, and plan experiences that promote growth in language, social-emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.

Through discussions and hands-on practice, educators will explore ways to organize lessons, meet the needs of diverse learners, and use observations to guide planning. By the end of the training, participants will have practical tools and strategies for creating meaningful lesson plans that encourage active learning and child engagement.
